From Port Elizabeth Direction: Take the Humansdorp off-ramp left. At end of off-ramp turn left and enter Humansdorp. Go over first stop (cultural centre on right) into Main road. Drive along the main road till you get to the t-Junction and turn left following signs to St. Francis Bay. After traveling for approx. 10km you will get to a traffic circle where you will turn left into St. Francis Bay. At t junction turn right. This road is known as Lyme Road South. Lyme Road South carries you all the way to the next t junction at which you turn right again onto St Francis Drive. You continue down St Francis Drive until you see a large sign board 'Port View Place' which directs you left, this is Leighton Hullet Drive and takes you through the Port gates. Getting There By Road: St Francis is situated 100kms west of Port Elizabeth on the N2 to Cape Town. By Bus: Bus companies offer regular services from Cape Town & Durban to Port Elizabeth and on to Humansdorp which is situated 20kms from St Francis. There is an unscheduled Kombi service during the season. By Air: Access by air is via either Port Elizabeth Airport (100kms) or George Airport (220kms). There is a 100m runway at the air park in St Francis Bay. Car hire is available at both airports as well an in St Francis itself. (Thanks to St Bay Tourism for supplying directions) |
